Nikx Stikx is a non-hazardous solid metal-cutting compound that eases your task ane extends the life of all metal cutting and threading tools. Cutting oils are combined with wax in a tube approximately 1" in diameter and 6" long.
Rub a little compound on the tool cutting edges. The compound heats up when cutting starts. The heated compound migrates to the tool cutting edge. The cutting compound helps prevent steel and aluminum from galling on the tool cutting edges.
The compound works equally well on wood working tools by preventing wood pitch build-up and is a great lubricant for driving screws and lag-bolts.

2226 Spra-Kool Midget Mist Coolant Spray Unit

The Spra-Kool Midget unit has successfully been used for over 30 years as a versatile, economical method of applying a coolant spray for machining.
The Spra-Kool unit works on 30 to 150 PSI air pressure. (You furnish the air compressor.)
Simply attach the ball-check fitting to the air supply, drop the suction tube into a coolant container, and locate the nozzle by means of the spring-wire attaching clip. The soft wire in the nose can be bent to direct the spray to the work. It is designed for easy transfer from one machine to another.
The coolant container can be anything, such as a plastic bottle or a coffee can.
It takes only seconds to locate and set the nozzle for full coverage of any area. Slight adjustment of the control valve permits regulating the volume from a fine mist to a heavy, wet spray.
Only solid brass fittings are used. There is nothing to rust or corrode. The system is suitable for use with any type of soluble coolant or oil. |

Use this spray mist unit to extend cutting tools life by keeping them cool and lubricated. The spray mist unit keeps the work piece cool with a combination of coolant mist and an air stream.
The manifold/air metering block is made from 6061 T6 aluminum. Lock Line® snap-together hose stays where you put it. The simple design protects the siphon hose from chips.
Both the air flow and the coolant flow can be adjusted separately.
Maximum air flow and coolant flow using the large ID tube is 3.5scfm of air and 1.25 gal/hr of coolant.
Minimum air flow and coolant flow using the smaller diameter tube is 0.64scfm of air and 0.025 gal/hr of coolant. This is the minimum rate to keep a consistent flow of coolant
The manifold block has 1/4 inch mounting holes for screws. It has a 1/4 NPT thread for your compressed air supply. (You furnish the air compressor.)
The spray mist unit can be pointed with one hand and the Lock Line hose stays where it is aimed. The coolant reservoir mounts with hook and loop tape.
Any coolant that is compatible with a spray mist unit will work. The choice of coolant will have more to do with the machining application than the spray mist unit. This unit is capable of spraying very precisely a small amount or a flood.
