3146 Adapter, 3" Lathe Chuck, Rotary Table

For rotary tables with 20 mm registration hole in center

3" Lathe chuck adapter. This adapter lets you mount a 3" 3- or 4-jaw lathe chuck on a rotary table with a 2 Morse taper center hole. There is an alignment boss that projects into the tapered hole for quick alignment. It is clamped to the rotary table with T-slot nuts that are not included.

The net thickness is the distance from the rim of the lathe spindle to the back of the chuck.

5" Lathe chuck adapter. This adapter has a 95 mm diameter registration boss, and has 6 chuck mounting holes. The adapter is 6" in diameter. This adapter lets you mount a 5" 3- or 4-jaw lathe chuck on LittleMachineShop.com PN 2326 6" rotary table. It can be used on other 6" rotary tables with some modifications. There is an alignment boss that projects into the tapered hole for quick alignment. It is clamped to the rotary table with T-slot nuts that are not included. The locating boss on this adapter fits a 30 mm hole, so if the hole in your rotary table is 30 mm this adapter will work without modification. If the hole is smaller, you will need to turn down or remove the locating boss.

This 2-inch 3-jaw self-centering lathe chuck fits Unimat 3 and Unimat 4 lathes. This chuck has a M14x1 threaded through hole (approximately 13 mm). It holds work up to 1.30" (33 mm) in diameter. This chuck requires a 15 mm OD x 14 mm ID bushing to mount on a Unimat 3 or 4. Fits the SIEG C0 lathe.

This 3 inch 3-Jaw self-centering lathe chuck is the one that comes on the mini lathe. It includes a chuck key and inside and outside jaws. This three jaw chuck has a 0.63" (16 mm) through hole. It holds work up to 2.48" (63 mm) in diameter. The radial runout of a test bar held in this chuck, when the chuck is mounted true, is 0.003" maximum.

This 3 inch 3-Jaw front mount lathe chuck includes a chuck key, inside and outside jaws, and three M6 mounting bolts. The chuck has an inside diameter gripping range (outside jaws) of 24-64 mm, and an outside diameter gripping range (inside jaws) of 2-70 mm. Front mount chucks are designed to be used with rotary tables and other devices where back mounting chucks cannot be used. Easily mount on table, dividing head, fixture, or indexer. This is a plain back chuck and requires a backplate adapter to mount it on a lathe.

Harlingen 3 inch 3-jaw self-centering lathe chuck. The Harlingen chucks have similar specifications to our other lathe chucks in terms of clamping range however they have a better runout and the material construction of the chuck is better. The runout of these chucks is rated at ≤ 0.002" vs ≤ 0.003" for other chucks in this class. The chuck body is made of wear-resistant cast iron with a higher hardness than similarly made lathe chucks. The cover plate, scroll plate and pinions are all constructed of higher quality steels for added strength and resistance to wear. The jaws are made of 1045 hardened carbon steel and manufactured for precise fit and clamping performance. Each chuck has in individual serial number and inspection report. This 4 inch 3-Jaw self-centering lathe chuck includes a chuck key, inside and outside jaws, and mounting bolts. This chuck has a 0.87" (22 mm) through hole. The chuck can hold work up to 3.15" (80 mm) in diameter. The radial runout of a test bar held in this chuck, when the chuck is mounted true, is 0.003" maximum.

Harlingen 4 inch 3-jaw self-centering lathe chuck.
