Dial Indicator and Magnetic Base - CLOSEOUT SALE 3385  (Discontinued) 

This kit contains a small magnetic base. The arms are about 2 1/4" from pivot to pivot. The base is a 1 1/8" cube. The dial indicator has a 2 1/4" diameter face and 1.3" stroke.

These sets were rejected by a major tool distributor because they arrived rusty. That's understandable, and it gives us the opportunity to offer this set, which retails for more than $90, at this great price.

You can invest an hour or so in cleaning and painting and, in most cases, have a nice set.

These are a bit of a gamble. We sampled 48 units and found that 40% of them had no visible problems (but might have rust where we could not see it), 54% had problems with either the magnetic base or the dial indicator, and 6% had problems with both pieces.

So there is a small chance that you will receive a set where all you end up with is a nice little base magnet (with an M5 tapped hole in the top) and a rugged plastic case.
