There are three buttons.

OFF/ON: Turns the power on and off.

ZERO: Sets the readout to zero at any position.

MM/INCH/FRAC: Switches between fractional inch, decimal inch and metric display.

We offer two digital calipers that display fractions at different prices. What's the difference?

The better digital caliper is a better quality instrument from PEC tools. You will find that these slide more smoothly than cheaper calipers. This make measurement easier. And in the fractions mode, they read to 1/64" instead of 1/128". In use, you will quickly find that 1/128" resolution is too fine to be useful.
