The only reason to order this item is if you want to move an A2Z CNC quick change tool post to a different lathe. The mounting kit is always included with A2Z CNC quick change tool post sets.

Some modification is required to mount this post on the 8X12 lathes. To mount, remove the cross slide and take the mount stud out from the bottom. Cut the shoulder surrounding the stud to 0.175" tall with a hack saw. Reinsert the stud in the cross slide and put the cross slide back on the lathe. Place ring spacer over the shoulder and put the QCTP on top of it. Secure it with the threaded sleeve. Bore out excess threads on the sleeve if needed.
