Description
6-flute countersinks are specifically designed for applications requiring high metal removal rates and are particularly effective on harder materials. They have the ability to reduce or eliminate chatter, leading to a smoother, cleaner cut.
The 3/4" and 1" countersinks have 1/2" shank. The 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" countersinks have a 1/4" shank.
These countersinks are suitable for enlarging and beveling holes, typically for countersinking screw heads. They may also be useful in chamfering edges and corners of holes, and deburring sharp edges or burrs.
Due to the high metal removal rate of the 6-flutes, these countersinks are ideal for harder materials where reduced chatter and a smooth finish is required.
