I'm a home shop machinist that first used a lathe at 17 years old. I attended trade school in my early 20s to learn more about machining.  I had several jobs in industry from screw machine shops to job shops. In 2000 I bought my mini lathe and have spent 25 years modifying and improving its rigidity, accuracy, and ease of use. All of my parts are made by myself on these machines. (Harbor freight 7x10 mini lathe and a harbor freight mini mill.) in Corpus Christi Texas.
