Description

This Android DRO tablet makes a great readout for our Bluetooth DROs.

Bluetooth digital readout software is installed on this tablet, which comes with complete instructions. The software is a customized and fully-licensed version of TouchDRO.

Chris's Tips

While we sell an Android Tablet with the DRO software installed, you can use most any Android tablet that supports Bluetooth with the Bluetooth DROs that we sell. 

Here's how to get going:

  1. On your Android tablet, go to Bluetooth Settings and Pair the DRO to your tablet. The name of the DRO is HC-06 or BT04-E. The PIN is 1234.
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install Yuriy's Toys TouchDRO.
  3. When you launch TouchDRO and tap Connect in the upper right corner.  

What's it takes to assemble a DRO?

  • Scale, Magnetic 1 Meter (5498) - One meter is usually enough for small mills. See Measuring for Scales below.
  • Read Head, Magnetic (5499) - Get as many of these as you have axes on your machine.
  • Transceiver, Bluetooth (5501) - This is the "sender" that talks to your Android Bluetooth phone or tablet.
  • Android Tablet (5513) - Any Android phone or tablet works as long as it has Bluetooth capability.
