Description
This steel mini lathe plinth block will add rigidity to our tool post mounting. It replaces the compound rest you mount a standard OXA quick change tool post (QCTP) directly to it.
The plinth block must be used with a quick-change tool post. It will not work with the standard 4-way tool post. This is not as tall as the compound rest so that tool holders are in the middle of the adjustment range on quick change tool posts. (2) M6x25 Socket Head Cap Screws are included.
- Mount with the two threaded holes toward the chuck.
- Use the inside threaded hole for small work.
- Use the outside threaded hole for large work.
- Use the center threaded hole for full support when the tool post is at an odd angle.
