This 4" electronic digital caliper is perfect for measuring the small parts we make. It fits into places, such as under the mini mill head, that a larger caliper won't.
It has manual power on and off. It won't go off and lose your measurement.
There are three buttons. One turns the power on and off. The second sets the readout to zero. The third button switches between inch and metric display.
You can make absolute or relative inside, outside, depth, and step measurements. You can set it to zero at any position.
Furnished with a fitted case.
Chris' Tips
Here are some tips on using calipers. What is the difference between accuracy and resolution?
Accuracy—indicates how close a measured value is to the true quantity of what is being measured.
Resolution—is the smallest increment the system can display or measure. It's one division on a dial, or the smallest increment of the righmost digit on a digital display.
