Description
This 6" electronic digital caliper has a large LCD display with ultra-responsive measuring speed that easily switches from inches (decimal) to fractions to metric measurements.
- Range: 0-6" (0-150 mm)
- Accuracy: 0.001"/6"
- Resolution: 0.0005" / 0.01mm / 1/128"
The caliper has hardened stainless steel construction allowing for smooth movement and a high measure speed. It is IP54: Splash water, oil and dust resistance
The three buttons perform the following:
1. OFF/ON: Turns the power on and off. (Auto off)
2. ZERO: Sets the readout to zero at any position.
3. mm/in/F: Switches between fractional inch, decimal inch and metric display.
The caliper comes furnished with a fitted case.

What is the difference between accuracy and resolution?
Accuracy—indicates how close a measured value is to the true quantity of what is being measured.
Resolution—is the smallest increment the system can display or measure. It's one division on a dial, or the smallest increment of the righmost digit on a digital display.
