Product Information

Description

Dasqua 0-150mm / 0-6" Stainless Steel Vernier Caliper With Fine Adjustment. Measure inside, outside, step and depth.

Vernier calipers provide an elegant method for precise measurements of linear dimensions. (See Chris' Tips for how to read a Vernier caliper.)

These calipers have a main scale in both imperial (inches) and metric (millimeters) dimensions. The imperial scale has graduations of 0.001" while the metric scale has graduations of 0.02mm.

The calipers have a range of 0-6" (0-150mm) and can measure inside, outside, step and depth measurements.

Made of stainless steel, the scales have a satin chrome finish with distinctly etched lines. There is a fine adjustment screw, a locking screw, as well as a clamping screw.

Strictly made in accordance with DIN862. Case Included

Chris's Tips

What is the difference between accuracy and resolution?

Accuracy—indicates how close a measured value is to the true quantity of what is being measured.

Resolution—is the smallest increment the system can display or measure. It's one division on a dial, or the smallest increment of the righmost digit on a digital display.

If you are new to Vernier calipers, here is a short Vernier caliper overview which explains how to read the scales.
