Description
The chuck stops mount magnetically to the face of any 3" to 5" 3-jaw lathe chuck.
The front and back surfaces are parallel within ±.002" (±0.05 mm).
The design allows short and small parts to project a consistent distance past the chuck jaws without falling inside the bore.
Diameter of stops is 3".
Chris' Tips
Using the magnets on the chuck stop, mount the stop flush to the face of the lathe chuck. Place the work piece against the chuck stop to control the depth in the lathe chuck. Close the chuck jaws to clamp the work piece.
