Description
R8 taper to ER-32 collet chuck for the R8 mini mill. The shank is R8 Taper to fit the spindles of the R8 mini mill. This collet chuck is made of high grade tool steel and has a 7/16"-20 drawbar thread.
ER-32 collets are 1.30" (33 mm) maximum diameter and 1.57" (40 mm) long. They have a clamping range of 0.04" - 0.826" (1.0 mm - 21.0 mm).
ER-32 collets have a range of 1/16" to 13/16" (1.0 mm to 21.0 mm).

*Collet must be assembled into a collet chuck nut before inserting into the collet chuck.
Chris's Tips
With all ER collet chucks, the collet must be snapped into the nut before placing it into the chuck. There is an eccentric ring inside the nut that engages the groove in the collet. That is what makes them self-ejecting. Tilt the collet again to remove it from the nut.
