HiTorque 6570 Deluxe Bench Mill

The model 6570 bench top mill provides a larger table, more travel, more horsepower, and more rigidity than other brand mills in its size class. It is the deluxe middleweight in our mill lineup. A significant step up in size, and power compared to a mini mill. Weighing in at just over 250 lbs. and a base dimension of 9.1" x 16.1", this mill can be placed on a bench with the help of some friends.

Most noticeable is the LED mirror display which clearly and elegantly organizes the key controls for the mill. The panel features a start/stop button, spindle direction button, Tapping mode button, a variable speed knob, and a Z-axis fine feed knob. The fine feed has a resolution of 0.001" for precise milling operations. The spindle speed is displayed in a large easy-to-read digital display.

A 750-Watt (1 hp) brushless DC motor provides abundant spindle power and tremendous low-end torque. The drive allows for spindle speeds from 100 to 2000 RPM continuously in both forward and reverse. A belt drive from motor to spindle eliminates any failure from gears breaking. High quality NSK brand tapered roller spindle bearings ensure years of quiet operation.

The combination of a large table (27.6" x 6.3") and extensive travel along X, Y, Z-axis (19.7", 5.5", 11.6") provides a large work envelope. Precision ground ways ensure smooth and accurate movement. Adjustable tapered gibs are on all dovetail ways.

The mill has an R8 spindle for wide tool availability. An Electrically interlocked spindle lock for easy, safe tool changes is added to this machine.

A true quill and drill press-style handles make for easy drilling. A separate digital depth gauge for the quill which reads in inches and mm and fine feed knob and position lock on the Z-axis provides for precise milling control. Tapping-mode allows you to reverse the spindle with a push of a button on the z-axis handles, making tapping easy.

The mill has a solid (No-Tilt) head and rigid rectangular dovetail column which maintains head alignment (tram) at any height, ensuring years of rigid and "true" milling.

Large handwheels on the X and Y axes and 10 TPI lead screws (accurate to 0.001") provide accurate readings. Ball thrust bearings on feed screws ensure smooth movement. On the deluxe version of this machine, Machined aluminum handwheels finish the professional look.

A factory installed, hard wired 3-axis DRO with easy-to-read display. Magnetic scales are mounted on the table and column. The DRO system provides accurate measurement for the X, Y, and Z axis in increments 0.0002".
