Description
Similar to any mechanical stop, these table stops provide a simple and reliable mechanical mechanism to set a stop on both sides (left/right) of your table. These stops limit x-axis table travel on your mill. This can help in achieving repeatable cutting actions of a standard length along the x-axis.
The 2 table stops are secured to the narrow channel on the front of the mill table via 6mm t-slot nuts. Depending on the projects needs these can be set anywhere along the length of the table.
The center limit block is secured to the front of the mill using the pre-drilled holes provided and also commonly used to mount a limit switch if using an optional power feed.
When moving the table in either direction the center limit block will stop table movement in a given direction when it reaches either stop. Similar to all stops this is the prompt you have reached that sides limit and should reverse direction or re-establish a new set-up.
