These lathe replacement parts are NSK, NTN, Nachi, or equivalent brand.

Chris Chris' Tips
These bearings are 1.25 mm wider than the standard bearings so you need to change a spacer when you install them.

On a mini lathe with a conventional DC motor, you must reduce the length of the rear spacer by 0.10" (2.5 mm). This is our 1310 Spacer, Spindle 32 mm if you want to modify a spacer before you take your lathe apart.

On HiTorque mini lathes and Micro-Mark 7x16 lathes, you must reduce the length of the rear spacer by 0.10" (2.5 mm). This is our 4041 Spacer, Spindle 11 mm if you want to modify a spacer before you take your lathe apart.

From one of our customers:

Greased and pressed on the taper roller bearings using my diy press, meticulously set the preload based on temperature, then methodically ran them in.  What a difference I now get a mirror finish on all the materials I use -- brass, aluminum, and stainless steel.  The new bearings have transformed my 7x14 lathe into a really nice machine.  The way it cuts rivals much bigger lathes Thanks for all the help Now onto my last mod – putting bearings in the cross slide handle.
