Quick Change Tool Post Conversion Kit, AXA for 9x20 Bench Lathe

This conversion kit is designed to convert the 9x20 bench lathe with a traditional 4-way tool post to a quick change tool post, size AXA.
Typically this kit will be for converting the HiTorque 9x20 or SIEG SC50 lathes that came from the factory with a 4-way post. ***This kit is specifically designed for this application. ***

Different bench lathe models have compound rest tops designed to fit whatever tool post comes with that lathe from the factory. These designs allow the cutting tools to align on center to the work. Modifying the tool post and/or compound can lead to incorrect alignment unless they are designed to work together. Consult our technical staff if you have questions about this kit or about converting your lathe to use a quick change tool post.

The kit includes a new compound rest top, a mounting bolt, and washer. The bolt is threaded specifically for the compound. If you already own an AXA quick change tool post, this bolt should slide through the center hole.
