This is a read head for the Bluetooth DRO system. Get one of these for each axis you need.

The cable is one meter long. Includes scale wiper.

Chris's Tips

What's it takes to assemble a DRO?

  • Scale, Magnetic 1 Meter (5498) - One meter is usually enough for small mills. See Measuring for Scales below.
  • Read Head, Magnetic (5499) - Get as many of these as you have axes on your machine.
  • Transceiver, Bluetooth (5501) - This is the "sender" that talks to your Android Bluetooth phone or tablet.
  • Android Tablet (5513) - Any Android phone or tablet works as long as it has Bluetooth capability.
