Basic steps in using the spindle square.

	Mount tool in spindle.
	Lower to surface without touching.
	Lower quill until dials pass one full rotation and then until one dial hits zero. - Note, this table needs to be trammed.
	Rotate 180 degrees.
	Lower to surface without touching.
