Description

3" High quality Kurt-style milling vise with large anvil area. Top, gib, jaws, bottom of vise bed and all plate mounting surfaces are hardened and precision ground. The angle tight positive locking style and wide jaw opening allows for holding a large array of workpieces securely and generates 30% more downward locking force.

The jaws are made to American standard dimensions (interchangeable with Kurt) and provide a flat and parallel gripping surface that ensures accurate and consistent clamping.

  • Jaws are 3.15" wide, 1.04" deep, open 3"
  • The jaws are perpendicular to the ways within 0.002" in 4".

The jaws can be mounted on either end of the fixed and movable jaw providing a wide range of clamping distances. The fixed jaw is bolted from the top for enhanced rigidity.

Overall length is 10.85” and the height is 3.05” without base, and 4.21” with base

Without the swivel base, the ways of the precision milling vise are parallel to the base of the vise within 0.0006" in 4".  With the swivel base installed, the ways of the vise are parallel to the base of the vise within 0.0008" in 4".
