Approximately 0.55" minimum hole size.

Uses TPMW-221 and TPMW-222 inserts.

The maximum thread depth is 0.100".

This tool ships with two kinds of inserts. The TPMC-32-NV insert is better in stainless and the TNMC-32-NV is better in alloy steels. You can use either for internal and external threading.

The difference is the relief angle. TPMC inserts have an 11 degree relief angle. TNMC inserts have a 0 degree relief angle.
